In 2012 Centacare opened St Francis Xavier Kindergarten (a Government-funded kindergarten) within South East Queensland, offering local children the opportunity to enrol in a Queensland Government-approved early learning program. Centacare has partnered with the Queensland Catholic Education Commission (QCEC) to oversee the running of the centre.
This kindergarten was opened as part of the Government's 'Kindy Counts' initiative which aims to make kindergarten programs more widely accessible to families in our region.
This centre has been ergonomically designed meaning all equipment and resources have been created especially for kindergartners.
The curriculum, which is aligned with the national Early Years Learning Framework, is delivered by a qualified early years educator
You can give your child's educational journey a flying start by enrolling them in kindergarten at St Francis Xavier Primary School.
