Welcome to St Francis Xavier School

St Francis Xavier School is a Catholic, co-educational primary school with approximately 500 students, located in the City of Ipswich. Situated adjacent to the Ipswich Motorway, it is about a 30-minute drive from the Brisbane CBD.

The school was established in 1910 and has always welcomed families from around the world. Our community is a rich tapestry of more than 36 nationalities, with over 32 languages spoken. We welcome all faiths and world religions, recognizing that our diversity is our strength, enriching teaching opportunities and ensuring every child experiences learning success.
